“The Bible and Prayer” is a component of the “Our Journey Through Scripture” program, which examines humanity’s search for God and reveals the true essence of prayer. It explores the prayer lives of significant figures throughout salvation history in both the Old and New Testaments, demonstrating the various ways we can communicate with God.
The 6-week course will begin on Thursday, September 4, at the Inverurie Parish Hall. Sessions will be held every Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, starting on September 4. Each session will have a specific theme that includes a talk followed by small group discussions. Martin Gray, the study leader, will also provide follow-up reading materials for you to take with you.
Additionally, the organisers are offering a childminding option to encourage greater participation from families.
“The Bible and Prayer” is one of many courses offered by Scott Hahn’s St Paul Centre and is being presented in our Diocese by the Ogilvie Centre. The course is free of charge. For more information and to register, email biblestudy@rcda.scot
