The College of Cardinals has elected Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the 267th Pope, who has taken the name of Leo XIV.
Dear Lord, we raise our voices in praise and gratitude for the election of our new Pope. We thank you for guiding the College of Cardinals in their discernment and for gifting us with a shepherd to lead your flock. May he be filled with your wisdom, strength, and compassion.
Bless him, Lord, as he takes on the significant responsibilities of his office. Grant him the grace to guide the Church with humility and love, and to be a beacon of hope and unity in a world that is often divided. May his ministry inspire us all to live more faithfully, to serve others with open hearts, and to seek your presence in all we do.
