Unpredictable events, such as challenging weather or difficult road conditions, can arise unexpectedly. I recommend subscribing to the parish WhatsApp channel if you use the app. It is a one-way communication tool designed for short-notice, last-minute announcements, and your identity will remain anonymous.
If you have already subscribed, you might need to check whether it’s muted (the default setting when subscribing). If so, you will not be notified when a message is published. Follow these four steps:
- Launch WhatsApp on your device
- Tap the Updates icon to open the list of channels
- Tap the channel you want to check
- If the Bell icon is crossed out, tap it to unmute the channel
