If you use the WhatsApp app, I’d like to suggest subscribing to the parish WhatsApp channel. It’s a one-way communication tool used to make last-minute announcements. You will remain anonymous.
Last winter, I used it a couple of times to cancel weekday Masses when the driving conditions were too dangerous. The easiest way to subscribe is by visiting the parish website on a smartphone with WhatsApp installed on it and tapping the WhatsApp icon below. When prompted, confirm your subscription and tap a small icon of the crossed-over bell in the top right corner of the screen to unmute notifications for the channel – by default, it’s muted.
