{"id":687,"date":"2026-08-01T17:00:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T16:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inverurie.rcda.scot\/?p=687"},"modified":"2026-08-01T19:44:57","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T18:44:57","slug":"confirmation-classes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inverurie.rcda.scot\/?p=687","title":{"rendered":"Confirmation classes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We invite secondary school students to participate in the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The sacramental preparation classes will be held throughout the school year after the Sunday Mass, following the Aberdeenshire Council&#8217;s school timetable (i.e. no classes during school holidays). Attendance at Sunday Mass is a mandatory part of the process, and it is also an obligation for practising Catholics.<\/p>\n<p>We will begin after the Sunday Mass on 20 September with an introductory meeting with the candidates and their parents.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation is provisionally scheduled for Sunday, 23 May 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A parent must complete a registration form for candidates under 18.
